Blast Theory

Blast Theory's Rider SpokeBlast Theory is a multiple award-winning interactive arts group that mixes online, live performance, and digital broadcasting. Richard created the user front ends for two of their projects. Firstly Rider Spoke, in which cyclists rode around the city with Nokia N800 strapped to their handlebars, recording location-based audio tracks, and listening to the recordings of others. And secondly I'd Hide You, where runners on the street with streaming video cameras playing Hide and Seek with each other, were followed online by players betting on their ability to back the best runners.
